Manzanita Group Sets Pace - The Manzanita Pace Setters is a walk/jog/run club that meets at 7:30 a.m. Saturdays rain, wind or shine in the parking lot behind Spa Manzanita, located at 144 Laneda Ave. To participate, bring one can of food for the North County Food Bank. The self-paced, approximately one-hour course starts and ends at the parking lot, with a new route each week. All active club members will receive 10 percent off massages at the spa. Fundraiser Garage Sale on Tap - A garage sale will be held from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at 2041 S.E. Grant St. All proceeds will benefit the American Cancer Society Relay For Life.

French Conversation Group Convenes - A weekly French conversation group will start from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday at the North County Recreation District, 36155 Ninth St. in Nehalem. This is a conversation group, not a French class. French will be spoken exclusively the entire two hours. A native French speaker will be present to gently guide discussion. Fundraiser Car Wash Set - The Clatsop Community Bank Relay for Life team will hold a car wash and hot dog barbecue from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday in the bank's parking lot at 1150 N. Roosevelt Drive in Seaside. One hundred percent of the profit will go to the Relay for Life Cancer Walk.
